The old island is not dead
Rust Legacy is not a “classic mode” of current Rust. It is the 2015 client: a fixed island, linear crafting, C4 from a workbench. Facepunch shut official Legacy in December 2016. This site is a reference for that game and a waitlist for an unofficial CIS x1 shard.
